Another example is to use universal dummy loading (multifibre dummy loading), domestic detergents & actual washer/dryer used by consumers to conduct tests to ensure validity of testing.

2.MULTIFIBRE DUMMY LOADINGS/ STANDARD BALLAST

BALLAST is used together with sample(s) in tests so that actual washing/drying conditions can be made. Multifibre Dummy Loading helps better appreciation for both colour fastness/appearance. dimensional stability and many others.

3. STANDARD REFERENCE DETERGENT/ DOMESTIC DETERGENT

There are mainly two types of detergents used in textile testing. One is standard reference such as AATCC, SDC The other is domestic, it is used subject to consumers' preference.

Standard Reference Detergents

AATCC and SDC standard reference detergent were tightly controlled each lot to remain consistent and ensure it meets the specification of the AATCC and ISO standard

Domestic Detergents
